This kiln was developed for the lampworker. They are excellent for single pieces or large scale production work. For quick and easy access to your work, the cantilever door lifts upwards and automatically reseats every time it is closed for a tight fit to minimize heat loss.
Set the control dial to desired setting. The automatic control will maintain a set temperature. Temperature advances from 0 F to 500 F within 6 minutes, and from 500 F to 1050 F within 29 minutes. Maximum operating temperature is 2000 F. Kilns operate on 115V, 14 amps, 1680 watts and the 220V 8 amps, at 840 watts.
JT-201 has a slot in the door to accommodate a holding rod up to 5/8" for large work, reworking and repairs. Ideal for pre-heating large rods. All units are constructed of heavy gauge, galvanized sheet metal in hammertone grey finish.
